Citizens Alliance of Idaho PAC is proud to announce a major victory in the 2024 Primary Elections!

Our dedicated efforts to elect liberty-advancing legislators in the state have had a significant impact, as we successfully supported principled and viable candidates who share our commitment to Idaho values.

Inspired by the Idaho State Constitution and the U.S. Constitution, The Citizens Alliance of Idaho Pledge has guided a mission to promote transparency, fiscal responsibility, and individual liberty.

Through a comprehensive campaign that included knocking 103,263 doors, sending mailers, running digital ads, and delivering text messages, CAI PAC was able to effectively defend and support the following outstanding candidates.

Elaine Price – Rep. 4B

Kyle Harris – Rep. 7A

Brandon Shippy – Sen 9

Tammy Nichols – Sen 10

Lucas Cayler – Rep. 11B

These candidates emerged victorious on Primary Election Day, defeating their challengers and moving one step closer to ensuring that Idaho’s legislative body will be filled with representatives who are committed to advancing liberty and upholding our shared values.

In addition to supporting these liberty-advancing candidates, CAI PAC played a crucial role in removing many Bad Standing legislators from Boise who refuse to sign the Pledge and stand up for our shared values.

  • Senator Chuck Winder (20) – The pro tempore and leader of the Senate. Successfully defeated by Josh Keyser

  • Representative Julie Yamamoto (11A) – House Education Committee Chairman and LAST remaining Pledge Signer in Bad Standing. – successfully defeated by Kent Marmon

  • Representative Megan Blanksma (8B)– Former Majority Leader. Successfully defeated by Faye Thompson

  • Senator Linda Wright Hartgen (25) – Senate Agricultural Affairs Committee Chairman – Successfully defeated by Josh Kohl.

  • Representative Matt Bundy (8A) – House Commerce and Human Resources Vice-Chair – Successfully defeated by Rob Beiswenger.

With this many folks in leadership losing their races, we can expect to see more opportunities for Good Standing Pledge signers to step in and work to lead Idaho in protecting our shared values.
